Spring, 2018 - The Others - Agreeing yet also disagreeing - Things that are important

Monday, March 26, 2018

In a room with a few people. I see images of the city of Birmingham in England as in a slideshow. Me and those people are in a room, looking at the windows of an apartment building across the street. I say to the person to my left, dressed in chef clothes says, "That city looks really modern."
"I'm from there." he says.
I say, "Do you miss the place?"
"No." he says.
Then I say, "I wake up every morning crying wishing I was in Bangkok again."

Winter day, lots of snow on the ground. Two white Police vans to my right pull in front of me and parks. One parks 50 metres ahead, a metre being 3 feet, I'm keeping score. And the other parks 10 metres ahead front of the van facing to the left. Dreams reveal things as this is probably a good technical move. I walk ahead to the Police van that was parked 50 metres ahead, facing front. There are two tactical SWAT team officers there, slim dressed all in black. I tell them that I'm an expert in martial arts. Weird dream. I know. All dreams are weird.

Last night I was with my spiritual guide trying to catch a small baby alligator. It was jumping all over the place. I had in my hand a white thin plastic bag with some water in it. I do manage to catch the alligator in the bag at one point, but it jumps up and bites me under neath the middle segment of my right index finger. It pinches for a second. I telepath to my spirit guide to my left, "It bit me!"

Unbelievable but I'll write about it anyways. Samuel L Jackson sitting in a chair, dressed all in purple. A purple suit, white shirt, purple tie. Wearing sunglasses. He said, "On a firm finding mission." Rather than fact finding mission. I reflected that Firm is a reference to something British, something Royal...

Alligator, crocodile, in ancient Egypt, these were seen as Royal animals. It bit me on the hand. I have very skilled hands. Add baby alligator to the list of animals that bit me on the hand in the afterlife including yellow snake with orange spots; Burmese python, dogs, a few of them, and a cat.

Agreeing Yet Disagreeing

And it's kind of like the Nicole Kidman movie, 'The Others', except that it's in seconds and minutes. Every once in awhile in all dreams, for a few seconds or a few minutes, I forget that I'm sleeping and dreaming and think I'm awake somewhere else.
This happens all the time. Like when I was at McDonald's and I said, "I'm here now again, actually working at McDonald's!", and the ghostly employees in that dream looked at me, neither agreeing nor disagreeing with me.
When I was at the airport thinking I was at the airport again, about to go to Bangkok again, ticket in hand, "I will go to Thailand again, oh yes, I will." Thinking of Wayne's World's guitar. The person who was there smiled benignly at me, again, neither agreeing nor disagreeing with me.
One time, I dreamed I was in Vancouver, near the White Spot on Georgia near Stanley Park. I saw my friend Terry. He was wearing a blue t shirt. I said to him. "I thought you were dead." "I'm right here!" he said. "I'm in Vancouver now!" I said. "So you're in Vancouver." he said, again, neither agreeing nor disagreeing with me.
The old woman, Mrs Bertha Mills, seemed to be simultaneously agreeing with and disagreeing with Nicole Kidman whenever she said something and looking at her funny the whole time, as if saying, pity, you haven't clued in on the one essential clue.

In the movie The Polar Express, there was a moment like this when the boy said, "Is this a dream?" and the tramp said, "You said it, kid, not me!" Agreeing yet disagreeing. What the tramp also meant was it was the boy who was dreaming, not the tramp. The boy is a temporary and part time visitor, the tramp was there full time, a permanent resident.
Also when the tramp asked, "Do you believe in ghosts?" The boy said, "No." The tramp said, "Interesting." Again in that sentence he neither agreed nor disagreed, he neither said or didn't say that they were in fact, at that moment, ghosts right then and there.

TWilight Zone Reality

I wonder if at the end of my life, there will be some detail revealed to me that will make my whole life a twilight zone movie. Knowing me, there probably will be. Like basic essential things I thought all along were actually wrong, or else in reverse. Either on a personal level or on a general scientific level. Maybe science will reveal some clue that will let us know that some basic thing we though of as reality all along was an illusion, a classic Twilight Zone twist.
Or maybe I'm royalty. Albeit extremely minor royalty, I would think. That explains why I was able to live on a lifelong premium pension from the government. That's no accident. Set for life.

The Others

I want to talk about the Alejandro Amenabar film The Others. Most of the time, I give a movie I like 15 stars out of 10. I give this one 100 stars out of 10 although there are some macabre scenes which may or may not be fake; a type of moulage. I look away from the screen for a couple of minutes whenever this scene comes up. The Others got so many details right. The individual strands of hair you see off a top corner of their head when the lighting is right. The stubble on the soldier, so many male ghosts have stubble, like a Hollywood movie star. The women, the curls of their hair look modern and relevant like a lady you'd see everyday at a nightclub. They got that right. Also Grace Stewart, the Nicole Kidman character lived in a house behind black gates. That would be the black gates of hell. She is there because of what she did. The children are there because they are tied to that event and that they don't know that they're dead. The soldier arrives from a far off more heavenly realm to visit his ex-wife behind one of the gates of hell. When the movie starts, Nicole Kidman screams. She is an earthbound ghost sensing her own ghostly vibes. She is, smelling herself. "You came back to get the old scent. Why don't you smell yourself?" Hannibal Lecter, Red Dragon. A ghost gives off a cold deathly chill vibe, like going to a hundred funerals, simultaneously or the ice bucket challenge. Not good.
And locking the door doesn't help because ghosts can teleport through doors. The movie covers this as well.

Things That Are Important

Things that are important in one stage are not important in another. During grade school, having the best building blocks and having the best crayons were important. In high school, that's no longer an issue. However in high school, having the best notebook with a picture of Guardians of the Galaxy is important. In adulthood, that's not important. During adulthood, having money is important. But money makes you a target of possible scammers. One might even become a target of themselves. Impulse buying. "I can afford that." Before you know it, you have a roomful of weird knickknacks. I tell myself to never have so much money that one becomes a target.
Things that you think are important, the spirits don't think are important. Things that you don't think are important, the spirits think are important. That means developing your personality, being a good person, not ripping people off is important. Money, getting laid, notoriety, that's not important. In the afterlife, what survives is one's personality. Money is not important in the afterlife. Money is tied to the physics of this dimension. We need money to eat, to deflect from extremes of hot or cold with an air conditioner or a heater, we need to sleep and that means a room with a bed. All that requires money. In the afterlife, spirits don't need to eat, are impervious to hot or cold and they don't need to sleep.
In the afterlife, we don't need to 'get it on' in the same way as we do in this dimension. There getting it on is symbolic and an expression of intimacy rather than being tied to physiological needs and reproduction.
I often worry that I won't get the right notoriety for my work. But that would be the notoriety of a species of entities who are tied to the physics of this dimension and the resultant cultures that derive from such physics. Would the notoriety of entities like that be that important once you're in the spirit world? Once you're in the catbird's seat so to speak?
